This season a fleet of the city’s treasured food trucks are descending upon the Docklands, with The Food Truck Park announces a Summer Residency at The District Docklands.
Here indecision and gluttony find solace, with food trucks rotating weekly and serving up favourites like Miso Fresh, Chef Calamari, Senor Churro and T-Rex Bar-B-Q. Dine inside or out, with DJs and live music also on the menu all summer long.
The Food Truck Park Summer Residency comes alive from 11:00am to 9:00pm every Friday until the 28 February 2018.
The District Docklands

Only in Australia would you expect to find a floating BBQ and only in Docklands can you live that dream. In a nation-wide first, Aqua Donut is a bridging the gap between boating and barbequing with the introduction of its fibreglass floating devices.
Complete with in built gas BBQ station, the electronically powered vessel seats up to 10 people and features a Bluetooth music system and speakers, LED lights and giant sun umbrella. BYO food, drinks and friends and you’ve got yourself a dining experience like no other.
With a maximum speed of 9 KPH, no boating license is required, and all precautions are covered off in an initial safety briefing. Inclusive in the two-hour rental is the use of the barbecue, oil spray, cutlery, rockery and safety equipment.
Aqua Donuts will be afloat every day from 11:00am to 8:30pm until 20 April 2018.

Warm, balmy nights call for picnic rugs, ice creams and big screens. Ticking all of those boxes is Park Cinema Docklands. Presented by Victoria Harbour, this free program is transforming Buluk Park into an open-air movie theatre.
With classics like The Karate Kid offered up alongside titles from the Melbourne International Film Festival, this alcohol-free event attracts families, holiday-makers and locals alike.
Thanks in part to the designated UberEats drop-off point, the lawn is likely to fill up quickly so be sure to book ahead online and get in early as there is no reserved seating.
Park Cinema Dockland’s summer season runs every Friday night from January 26 to March 2, with gates opening at 7:00pm and screenings commencing at sunset or approximately 8.30pm.
